Virtual distiller’s Dinner with Dueling bartenders
Deadline to reserve is May 27th.
On May 28th at 6:30 p.m. Restaurant Olivia will host a virtual distiller's dinner where two esteemed bartenders will battle for their chosen charity. Chef Ty Leon has created a three-course booze-inspired take-and-bake menu for which Family Jones' Nick Touch and Sean Kenyon, partner at Williams & Graham, American Bonded and Occidental and 2014 Bartender of the Year at Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards, will pair cocktails alongside each course. Leon will speak about each dish while Touch and Kenyon explain their pairing choices, lobby for their pick, and answer questions from guests, all via Zoom. Guests will vote on which pairings they enjoyed best and a donation will be made to the winning bartender’s chosen charity. Nick will be representing St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Sea with be competing for Denver Shift Meal.
COURSE ONE:
Gin Inspired
Burrata, Parmesan Focaccia and Juniper-Basil Pesto
COURSE TWO:
Vodka Inspired
Lasagna Vodka Pomodoro, Braised Hen and Basil
COURSE THREE:
Bourbon Inspired
Bourbon Butterscotch Budino, Strawberry-Rhubarb Compote and a Brown Butter Cookie
All items will be built as take-and-bakes for you to prepare in your home kitchen the day of the dinner. We will send each guest with comprehensive instructions as well as two cocktails per course.
Deadline to order is Wednesday the 27th and meals may be picked up at Restaurant Olivia between 11am and 4pm on the 27th and 28th.
